MCP-1 (Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1) - chemi
|3 days||6 months||6 months|
Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1 (MCP-1), also known as CCL2, MCAF and TDCF, is encoded by the human JE gene. It belongs to the CC chemokine family. The MCP proteins chemoattract and activate monocytes, activated T cells, basophils, NK cells, and immature dendritic cells. Elevated levels of MCP-1 have also been found in connection with inflammation, Alzheimer’s disease , myocardial ischemia, and viral infections. There are three G-protein-coupled receptors for MCP-1: CCR2, CCR4 and D6/CCBP2 (1, 20-22).
The MCP-1 assay is a chemiluminescent immunoassay. Detection range 0.8 - 800 MRD 1:25
